Welcome Veterans

Northwest State Community College welcomes veterans, military service members and their dependents. Our staff and faculty are dedicated to assisting you in transitioning into college and supporting you in meeting your educational goals. At NSCC, we understand that the transition to student life can be challenging, yet rewarding. With that in mind we have worked very hard to ease this transition for you.

NSCC is dedicated to providing you with services and resources that will assist you in adjusting to civilian and campus life. Our staff can assist with the following:

• Identifying federal and state education benefit options
  
• Advocating military transfer credit
• Withdrawals/re-admit due to deployments or call to Active Duty status
• Connecting veteran students with campus resources, veteran service providers, and other agencies encouraging academic success at NSCC

Above all, we encourage you to use the Registrar's Office as your central point of contact for anything you need throughout the admission, registration, and entire enrollment process.  We are here for any  questions, concerns, or assistance and to be your advocate on this campus.
